Kaitlyn Wall
Wichita State University Graduate
Kaitlyn graduated in December, 2015 with a BFA in Studio Art: Drawing/Painting and a minor in French. Throughout her studies, she worked in many different types of media, learning how to grow her concepts and skills. By the final semester, she started honing her skills with mixing screen printing and painting together on canvas and other surfaces, to create a sort of inter-media collage affect. For her BFA project, Corbie Leiker and Kaitlyn collaborated and created a series of concepts which really stemmed from the crossover between their individual artist statements. Their work grew to include photographs documenting scenes the duo created. From videos documenting performance, to a live performance piece within a gallery.
"It was thrilling to explore this much in my last semester at WSU." Kiatlyn Wall
Corbie and Kiatlyn still work together, applying for residencies for the summer of 2016, and designing a mural for the Douglas Design District Art Days coming up in April. For Kaitlyn's individual work, she is working on preparing a raw space to provide studios for herself and other local artists.

I am excited to get back to work. As for Grad school, I am definitely considering it, but I am enjoying this in-between time to focus on growing my personal aesthetic, we'll see where that leads me."
