Jared Gabriel
Wichita State University Graduate
Jared Gabriel finished his MFA at Wichita State University this spring. His emphasis is ceramics. He started his academic career at Montana State University in Bozeman. At the time, his focus was creative writing. He accidentally signed up for a ceramics class. Rick Pope encouraged his development and hired him as a studio assistant. He ended up with a BFA and ceramics.
He met Ted Adler at a workshop at Montana State University and returned to WSU after a three-year break.
He is returning to Montana to join an artist collective called "the Valhalla collection".
